I'm so glad you're more and more visiting my blog on a regular basis... to be honest I thought that would actually piss many of you off :-) So thank you guys!
I was sitting my Oh-So-Adorable nephew and just look what he's wearing underneath... Only 19 month old and yet already so chic! I think that's the cutest baby boy underwear you can find! Petit Bateau, what else...!

Ok so yesterday I TRIED to catch a train to go to Paris -for those who ain't aware, there's a strike in Paris, well actually more like a routine kinda thing - and I saw that ad... I mean who the hell are they kidding ?

But I had a great evening... Thanks R, the Chablis in the snow at 00.00 was just...memorable

Homeless, yet styleful...

Sometimes it is those who got nothing much who just, in their own unpredicted way, radiant the most...

Who said Art was expensive...

September 09. At the Musée d'Orsay. One of my favorite museum.

Watch time is it?

Ok so I think it's the cutest watch you can find right now! It's simple yet very noticeable. You just can't miss it on someone! I love the old-fashioned way to wear it on a chain! It can be worn on pretty much everything. Good job Marc! Unfortunatly, it's not mine! A you have great tastes, this post is for you girl!

Who's who?

I was walking near the Mazarine Bibliothèque, in front of the passerelle des Arts in Paris and I ran into this funny scene. A young couple was waiting to cross the street. What I liked here is the blur between the two. When you don't look up, you might think it's just two guys standing. Well it wasn't. The girl was on the...left and the guy (who worn a classic-perfectly-fit-navy-blue-Ralph-Lauren polo) was on the right, sockless.
Love the shoes by the way.

It's all about style...

I just bought this beautiful book about Italian Designer Giorgio Armani. It's a nice portrait of his overall career. Very well written and amazingly illustrated with fashion pictures. If you fancy elegant and classy fashion and If you're a photographaolic, just don't forget to add it on your Xmas list!
It's big, heavy, delicate, but once again, it's all about style...

Let's Sparkle!

Nice Weekend... hang-outs, restaurant, cakes, poker, and looots of Champagne...

Deep America...

On my way to Zion, UT. I stopped the car and walked back coz I just loved the scene. A beautiful shiny bike in front of this tiny wooden church. Everytime I look at this picture I keep wondering if the bike belonged to the priest...

I also took that picture in Utah. A tip for you: when you're on the road, never EVER close your eyes even just a second in this state! I turned my head to the right and just noticed these amazing colors: this electric blue sky, the undescribable yellow grass, the immensity of the space, this perfect windmill and this solitary buffalo.

Need gas? Woh I just loved this gas station. I remember it was like 101°F out there! I took that one in Arizona. Pretty cliché you might think... yeah well whatever, coz when it touches you, you just well, take the picture.

Little Détour at the Tuileries...

When I'm in New York, I just love to walk through Central Park, but here in Paris, I love to walk through the Tuileries. It is such a beautiful place, well located and a real source of inspiration for me.
Everytime I get there (always camera on of course) I don't even have to look for a nice picture, it just gets me. I have a thing for observing people, yeah I know kinda weird, but I can't help it. I think everybody has "something", it can be beautiful, aweful, simple, complex... Here is just a few pictures I took a couple of months ago.
On the first picture is my Louis Vuitton bag (yeah I love it: bought it myself for my sweet 23!).
I really like the second one. When it's a warm day you'll always see people taking a nap on the green chairs.
The third one is one of my favorite. I can't explain, I just liked the way this man was.

Mars and Venus...

I took that picture last September. I was walking home, just got into fight with my boyfriend and wondered if men and women are genetically meant to be so in opposition, so black&white so Yes and No, and then I looked on my right and rI had my answer...

Home sweet home...

Ok so I got a little bored yesterday in class (yep I'm still a student) and so I let my pen and imagination drew a little. I really like architecture and home design. If I had the talent and all I would have loved to be an architect. I love the works of Franck Lloyd Wright, Pierre Koening and Alber Frey for instance. Be kind with me I don't really have a talent for drawings! I just love how free you are with a pen, you can do it all. So here's just an appartment interior in NY and a vacation house on the Pacific coast.

Once upon a book...

I'm currently reading James Frey's Bright Shiny Morning. God I wished I had written it myself. It is so well written and real. You'll get to know many different people, well-offs, homeless, youngsters, 40-somethings, nobodies, famous figures... For those who are familiar with L.A and California in general, well just read it coz you'll almost feel you're actually there. James Frey doesn't depict L.A as The place to be, he's just highlighting what it's really like to be there, it can be both damn exciting and really crappy.
Les Filles de Riyad (Girls of Riyad) was written by young saudi Rajaa Alsanea. It is the story of a few girlsfriends in Saudi Arabia. Their lives is described through e mails, because it's safer for them to express themselves. It is funny, alarming and hopefull at the same time. You see what it's like to be a woman in the Mid East region. It's not easy for them to do simple things, to have fun, to date. Nonetheless these girls find ways to live and enjoy life. It is a real lecture not only for us girls from Western countries, but also for guys. I think men should try to read it, if they trully care about women...
As for L'irrégulière from Edmonde Charles-Roux, it is said to be THE biography of Gabrielle Chanel. The real one, because Chanel is known for having made up a lot of her background. I stole it from my mother, just like her Numéro 5! I'll let you know about it.

If you have any book suggestions, feel free to post them!

Colorful!

I took this picture about a month ago, I was in the subway which was crowded like hell! Everyone looked so similar, so serious and focused, either on their Blackberry or listening to their IPod. Women were dressed up in dark suits, though pretty classy ones, with Black stilettos, while men were wearing black suits, black bags, black shoes, black watches... Don't get me wrong I love black, but when it's all too black, you feel like we're all pretty much, well, the same...
A
t one point I lifted my eyes up to see this amazing scene: A bunch of youngters also dressed in black were wearing shiny-colored sneakers! and a two-colored legging for the girl! See the colors, how strong they are, how unexpected they appear. I quickly took my camera out of my bag, I surely didn't want to miss that. Even though we all feel unconsciously that we should wear black as The pattern, here these people sent an unconscious message that deep inside, they've got something joyful, different and rebellious even, that they want to spread out!
Wanna
know the funny part of the story?
The t
hree persons didn't even know each other, they didn't speak to each other and got off the train in different stations. I just kinda like when things are not set up, when it's just a genuine didn't-mean-to-be action that is happening and that you are lucky to see, or to shoot even ;-)

By the way: This picture wasn't photoshoped, It is exactly what was in front of me!

Shoe addict...

I simply love shoes... yeah I know kind of a no-brainer for a girl, but I don't jst like to wear them, I love how much they say about someone. Whether you're wearing flats, high heels, sneakers or tongs... you're body, you're style's sending a message.

Here's a tip for you for whenever you get bored- next time you get on the train, the bus or next time you're just standing in line like a moron for hours at the post office! just look down...

ps: just love the little-boy socks businessmen wear underneath the suit that you can only notice when they're sitting in the subway...
