Firenze is the home town of the brand Salvatore Ferragamo. The wonderful museum - overlooking the Arno river- is about the designer and all his work. Since I'm a shoe addict, you guys must imagine how I felt in front of all the amazing shoes! But I won't post a picture of shoes. Nope. What I liked most there, was the massive stone panel near the entry. Just looking at it you know you're in Italy. You know, it's the typical Roman Empire signature. It makes me think about Ridley Scott's Gladiator -the best movie ever FYI- You know the letters S P Q R marked on almost everything to show the strengh and power of the Empire... Anyway, this stone is talking to us..." shhh, you are about to enter the Shoe Empire".
